James Franco and Travis Matthews will make a homo-sex-art-film

On July 8th, on Travis Mathew wrote on his website:

“Last week I got an email from James Franco’s agent asking if I’d be interested in collaborating with him on a homo-sex-art-film. A day later we were on the phone and a week later we’re in pre-production! We’ll be shooting at the end of July, Ill be editing in August, and in September it’s going to play in a show in NYC. We’re staying pretty mumsy on the specifics for now, but I can tell you that it’s going to ruffle some feathers. Stay tuned!”

Travis Mathews is a filmmaker whose movies focus on gay men and intimacy. He describes his approach to filmmaking as thoughtful and naturalistic while maintaining a sense of humor about it all.

Travis currently has two gay themed films showing in film festivals around the world. One of them is an ongoing documentary series called “In Their Room” about gay men interacting in bedrooms in San Francisco and Berlin. The other one is his first feature film, “I Want Your Love,
